Case 01 · Destination resort

Guangdong Four Seasons Cultural Tourism — Xinyi Sanhuali Resort

A national 3A-rated scenic area built around the Xinyi Sanhuali plum — China's first scenic area named after a fruit, and a national demonstration site for highway-service-area tourism integration.

Xinyi Sanhuali Resort, Maoming, Guangdong · 715 mu · opened 2022 · national 3A scenic area

Project background

Located in Baishi Town, Xinyi, Maoming, the resort covers roughly 715 mu with a total investment of RMB 150 million. It was built by the Xinyi municipal government together with Guangdong Four Seasons Cultural Tourism, and connects directly to the Baishi service area of the Yunmao expressway. The park is anchored by the 520-metre Xinyi steel-grid suspension bridge — the longest of its kind in Asia — and the 168-metre Yunmao bridge. Accommodation is the Guilai boutique timber-villa collection: 28 cabins and 34 keys built to five-star standards, each with a 180° panorama balcony. Food and beverage includes Xiaoman Kitchen, Aomo Coffee and Aomo Beer House; the Sanhuali Light & Story Hall uses holographic projection for an immersive seasonal experience.

What was fragmented

  • Accommodation, ticketing, dining and retail ran on separate systems — no shared guest view
  • Boutique villa bookings, park tickets and F&B settled at separate tills
  • Membership could not be redeemed across outlets, so repeat visits were hard to build
  • Purchasing and fixed assets tracked on paper, with weak cost visibility
  • Dispatch of engineering faults and maintenance ran offline
  • Operating data sat in each outlet — management had no real-time view

Solution deployed

One integrated operations platform covering ten modules, with one guest profile and one settlement ledger across the resort.

Hot spring system · Hotel system · F&B system · SCM procurement & fixed assets · Membership · Executive dashboard · WeChat mini-program · QR ordering · Takeaway system · GS cloud engineering

Outcomes

  • One guest profile across lodging, ticket, dining and retail — charges settle to a single folio
  • Membership redeemable at every outlet, so one visit can be converted into a repeat relationship
  • Villa inventory and park capacity visible on one screen, removing manual reconciliation
  • Purchasing and fixed assets moved from paper to online workflows with department cost control
  • Engineering faults reported by phone with photos; dispatch and repair fully traceable
  • Operating data consolidated into a single dashboard for management review

Zhongshan Hot Spring, Guangdong · 2.2 km² · 400 hotel rooms · 48 hot spring pools · opened 1980

Project background

Zhongshan Hot Spring covers 2.2 km² in Zhongshan, Guangdong. It was China's first sino-foreign co-operative tourism enterprise, invested by Hong Kong and Macao businessmen including Henry Fok and Stanley Ho, with its name inscribed by Deng Xiaoping. It opened in 1980 and is rated among China's Top Ten Hot Springs. The destination combines a star-rated hotel with 400 rooms, natural hot springs, a golf course, a conference centre and Chinese and Western restaurants — a set of businesses that historically ran independently of one another.

What was fragmented

  • Hotel, hot spring and restaurant systems were siloed, so membership benefits could not be used across outlets
  • Purchasing, inventory and fixed assets depended on manual ledgers — cost control was difficult
  • Weak guest-facing self-service put heavy load on front-line staff
  • Equipment maintenance recorded offline, with slow fault response
  • Operating data scattered across departments; management lacked real-time decision support

Solution deployed

An integrated smart-operations platform covering ten modules, unifying the resort's business lines on one data layer.

Hot spring system · Hotel PMS · F&B system · SCM procurement & fixed assets · Resort-wide membership · WeChat mini-program · GS cloud engineering · QR ordering · Takeaway system · Executive dashboard

Outcomes

  • Full-resort data connected; members redeem across every business line under one operating model
  • Supply chain and assets digitised, with online workflows compressing material loss
  • Mini-program self-service improves the guest experience and releases front-line labour
  • Closed-loop maintenance management keeps the park running reliably
  • Operating data visualised — decisions shift from experience-led to data-led
Case 03 · Group-level art town

Heyuan Chunmuyuan Town, Guangdong · Top 50 Characteristic Town · multi-hotel, hot spring, F&B, owner community

Project background

Chunmuyuan Town is a valley art-and-leisure community in Heyuan, Guangdong, ranked among China's Top 50 Characteristic Towns. The master plan covers roughly 8.5 km² with planned investment above RMB 20 billion. It brings together a multi-brand hotel cluster, hot springs, F&B, retail and an owner community — combining stream-valley ecology, arts programming, new-format lodging, nature education, dining and wellness into one destination. That breadth is precisely what makes group-level control hard.

What was fragmented

  • Multiple hotels, hot springs and owner businesses lacked a unified group control platform
  • Room control and in-stay service relied on manual process — guest experience was hard to standardise
  • Procurement, contracts and invoicing moved offline: slow and weak on compliance
  • Owners and hotel guests were managed in two separate systems, splitting customer information
  • Operating data sat in each property; the group had no unified BI for real-time visibility

Solution deployed

A group-level integrated platform spanning fourteen modules across hospitality, ownership and back office.

SCM procurement · Smart room control · E-signature · Hot spring system · E-invoicing · Takeaway system · Owner system · QR ordering · Hotel system · Executive dashboard · GS cloud functions · In-stay services · Group management system · Group BI · CRM

Outcomes

  • Unified group control — multiple hotels, hot springs and owner businesses managed as one
  • Smart room control plus in-stay service lifts room experience and lowers on-site labour cost
  • Procurement, e-signature and e-invoicing online: faster process, controllable compliance
  • Owner system plus CRM separates owners from guests for finer segmentation
  • Group BI and executive dashboard visualise operating data across the whole estate
Case 04 · City spa complex

Round-the-clock destination

Shenyang Qinghe Peninsula, Liaoning · opened 2017 · 2025 Asia Top 50 Hot Spring Attractions

Project background

Shenyang Qinghe Peninsula Hot Spring Resort sits in Shenyang, Liaoning, jointly designed by HKS (United States) and IKS Landscape (Japan). It opened in 2017 with a 100,000 m² footprint, combining hotel rooms, indoor and outdoor hot springs, a water park, a large dining hall and leisure facilities into a 24-hour destination. It was recognised in the 2025 Asia Top 50 Hot Spring Attractions. Volume and throughput are the defining operational challenge.

What was fragmented

  • Hotel, hot spring and dining systems were independent — cross-outlet settlement was laborious
  • High variety of in-venue spending; queuing, paying and posting to account were handled manually and error-prone
  • Wristband-based spending circulated through complex paths, making transactions hard to trace
  • Cashier efficiency dropped at peak, leaving guests waiting

Solution deployed

An integrated operations platform with self-service consumption flow management across the complex.

Hotel system · Hot spring system · F&B system · Self-service consumption management (payment, account posting, queuing)

Outcomes

  • Hotel, hot spring and dining data connected; wristband spending unified with automatic cross-outlet settlement
  • Self-service payment, account posting and queue management reduce cashier pressure and guest wait time
  • In-venue spending fully traceable — cleaner ledgers, fewer mis-posted or missed transactions
  • Stable support under peak visitor load, improving the overall consumption experience

Ten systems that ship together

This is the deployment pattern across our destination-resort clients. Buy them as one platform and the guest, the folio and the stock count stay consistent across every outlet.

Wristband issue and activation, turnstile control, in-park spending to wristband or room folio, therapist rostering and call-bell, ticket pricing by time band.

Hotel system

Cloud PMS front desk, room status, folio and settlement, rate structure, group and banquet booking, housekeeping performance, night audit.

F&B system

Chinese and Western restaurant, banquet, food street. Seven ordering methods, kitchen display routing, table and queue management, mobile POS.

Requisition to purchase order, price comparison and bidding, supplier scoring, warehouse in/out, fixed-asset tagging, cost cards, voucher sync to finance.

Membership

One membership across rooms, hot springs, dining and retail. Stored value, points, e-vouchers, tier benefits, staff and partner referral distribution.

Executive dashboard

Multi-outlet, multi-brand trading overview on one screen. Daily briefing pushed to management — occupancy, revenue mix, outlet performance.

WeChat mini-program

Direct booking and private-domain storefront: rooms, tickets, dining, packages. Cuts OTA commission and keeps the guest relationship in-house.

GS cloud engineering

Staff report faults by phone with a photo; dispatch, repair, consumables and energy logging all tracked. Preventive maintenance scheduling.

QR ordering & takeaway

Scan-to-order at the table, pay-before or pay-after, member pricing. Takeaway and delivery orders flow into the same kitchen queue.
